Very informed and emotional Tour, highlights were laying a wreath at the Menin Gate and being present at a re-burial of an unknown British Soldier.
Gave an excellent understanding of the lay of the land and conditions in both main battlefields of Flanders and the Somme, where my grandfather served as an 18 year old from New Zealand in 1918.
Stephen was great made the tour. Phil wash great as a driver
Steve was great guide giving lots of information without overdoing it.
We toured with Steve (guide) & Ken (driver) & had a fabulous experience… enjoyed it absolutely 👍
We found the whole tour both informative and moving. Our guide Steve was amazing at the level of knowledge he possessed. If he didn’t know an answer he would research it. The coach was comfortable and made getting around easy. The first 2 accomodation places were nice and well situated. Unfortunately the last hotel whilst clean and well presented lacked the basic amenities like air conditioning and had a very small bathroom. This was apparently due to the normal hotel being booked out. Otherwise we would recommend this tour to anyone who has a deep interest in WW1.
He talked more about the English than the Anzac
Excellent driver and tour guide giving their all.
