A few details should be addressed, the mini bus we had several seats were broken and other seats the seat belts didn't work. It should also be pointed out better that a lot of walking up and down long flights of stairs plus up and down steep hills.

The tour director Nicholas was wonderful and so helpful. Unfortunately I contracted COVID during the trip and reported it so had to leave the trip so others wouldn’t be affected. Sadly the BackRoad Tours policy on COVID relies on honesty. Many on our tour openly admitted that if they knew they had COVID or even thought they did that they wouldn’t report it as it would mean they had to leave the group. As it was a woman in our group had the same symptoms as me but she had chosen not to report it and myself and another woman ended up with COVID. If you are serious about upholding your policy of no travel if you have COVID then everyone should be doing a supervised RAT test every morning while on the tour.

Too many highways, no back roads experience. The high lite of the trip was a swim in the sea. The rest was rubbish. Poor hotels, restaurants and far too long walking tours.
